Matt Chawner is an experienced sales and senior relationship professional with a strong track record across financial services, recruitment, project management, and consultancy. Over the course of his career, he has worked extensively with clients in the financial markets and government sectors, helping organisations solve complex challenges and build high-performing teams.

Dan Warne is a technology entrepreneur best known for his role as Managing Director of Deliveroo, where he helped scale one of the UK’s most disruptive food-tech platforms, fundamentally changing how millions of people order food at home.
FINANCE
Paul is the founder and Managing Partner of Beechbrook Capital, a fund manager focused on private markets in the UK, Europe and Australia. He established the business in 2008 and plays a leading role in shaping the firm’s strategy, overseeing investments, managing investor relationships and chairs the Investment Committee.
Steve is a senior member of HSBC’s equities trading business in London. He joined the firm in late 2023 and plays a key role in delivering execution solutions for institutional clients, drawing on deep market expertise and long-standing client relationships.

Richard is CEO of Revolt, a consultancy he has led for the past five years. Revolt works with companies, charities and NGOs to help them turn stated commitments on issues such as sustainability into practical action, bringing together marketing, innovation and corporate affairs teams to do so.
Matthew is a Senior Technology Reporter at The Telegraph, where he covers social media, artificial intelligence, Big Tech, UK technology policy and online safety, alongside UK start-ups and venture capital. He began his career as a freelance journalist covering local, regional and London mayoral elections, before joining Legal Business as a news reporter. He has spent the past nine years at The Telegraph, first reviewing consumer technology on the Technology Desk, and later reporting on major technology companies and technology businesses as part of the Technology Intelligence team and Business Desk.
Hugo is a seasoned marketing leader with over 20 years of experience in the medical technology sector. He currently serves as Global Marketing Director at Smith & Nephew, a role he has held since 2019. He is responsible for setting the strategic brand direction, overseeing key marketing initiatives, including defining the new product development pipeline, all critical to driving global brand growth. Prior to this, he was Senior Global Marketing Manager at Smith & Nephew, where he led key campaigns and product launches across international markets.
LAW
Richard is a highly experienced corporate lawyer with over 30 years’ experience advising UK and international clients on complex corporate and M&A transactions. He was a Partner at A&O Shearman, where he led the firm’s Public M&A Group. His practice encompassed public takeovers, private company acquisitions and disposals, joint ventures and capital raisings for FTSE‑listed companies and large multinational corporations, often on cross‑border mandates.

Will is a leading commercial barrister with a broad litigation and arbitration practice across a wide range of commercial matters. His work spans banking and finance, civil and commercial fraud, telecoms, shareholder disputes, cryptocurrencies, insurance and reinsurance, professional negligence, shipping and international trade, and competition law.
Anna is Global Co-Chair of DLA Piper’s International Arbitration practice and specialises in international construction and engineering disputes. She has over 20 years’ experience advising domestic and international clients across sectors including renewables (particularly wind), conventional power, infrastructure, oil and gas, transport and manufacturing.

Tim is Head of Retail Occupier at CBRE UK, a global leader in commercial real estate services. With over 16 years’ experience in the industry, he holds an MRICS and an MBA at Imperial Business School and has built a strong track record of delivering value across all asset classes and geographies.
Matt is Director of National Industrial & Logistics Capital Markets at CBRE, a global leader in commercial real estate services. He specialises in advising investors and institutional clients on investment acquisitions and disposals across the UK industrial and logistics property sector.
Oliver Knight is responsible for Strategy, Product, Leasing, Investment Management, Asset Management, Flexible Offices and Marketing at Landsec, where he sits on the Workplace Board and Executive Committee. He leads the UK workplace and offices strategy, overseeing a team across London and major regional cities.
ENGINEERING & SUSTAINABILITY
Nick is VP of Procurement & Logistics at Algoma Steel, an electric arc furnace steel producer based in Northern Ontario. Prior to joining Algoma, Nick held a series of senior procurement and strategy roles at Irish multinational CRH, spanning operations across Canada and the United States.
TECHNOLOGY & FINTECH
Jamie began his career in consultancy before joining the UK Civil Service in 2016, where he spent seven years in a range of senior policy and delivery roles. He held positions including Brexit negotiations adviser and team leader, Head of Office to a senior minister, and Head of Regulatory Reform at Defra. He was part of the Prime Minister’s Covid-19 Task Force and was Deputy Principal Private Secretary at the Cabinet Office.
Following this, Jamie took a deliberate career leap to complete an MBA at Stanford Graduate School of Business. He has since moved into the technology and AI sector, leading the expansion of Peregrine Technologies into the UK market.
SHIPBROKING
Jim is a Director at Embiricos Shipbrokers, an in-house ship broking company which looks after oil tankers, bulk carriers and container ships. He has over 20 years’ experience in the industry working in China and Germany, both for ship owners and as a competitive ship broker. Prior to working in shipping, he worked as a journalist as well as teaching English in Japan.
After leaving Tonbridge, he studied History at the University of Leeds.
INSURANCE
Jamie Rowe is an Executive Director at Howden Broking, based in London, specialising in North American property insurance. He advises corporate and multinational clients on the design, placement and negotiation of complex property risk programmes, helping organisations secure tailored and competitive insurance solutions across a range of sectors.
After Tonbridge, Jamie studied Sociology & Anthropology at Durham University.

Rupert evaluates, recruits and coaches at both Board and Executive Committee level. He works across all industry sectors and particularly enjoys helping companies in a state of flux. In addition, he coaches proven and aspirant executive leaders, non-executive directors and anyone looking for fresh perspective.
Mark has nearly 30 years’ experience in recruitment, working across Leveraged Finance, Private Debt, Corporate Coverage and Capital Markets. His experience spans banks, advisory firms, CLO managers and buy-side investment management businesses. Mark founded Natural Search & Selection in 2008. The firm is an executive search specialist focused on the financial services sector.
