In a few weeks Matt will be setting off on a cycling challenge from London to Lviv, Ukraine, roughly 2,250km at around 100 miles a day for 14 days, in support of the Superhumans Centre in Ukraine. The centre provides rehabilitation, prosthetics and support to civilians and soldiers who have been injured since the full-scale invasion.
His goal is to raise £22,500 and thanks to some brilliant generosity so far, they are already over halfway there at £12,300.
The route has a personal connection too for Matt. It takes him through Calais, where his grandfather was captured in WW2 in 1940 and through Łambinowice in Poland, where his grandfather spent the rest of the war as a POW.
