Former Head of English's two Betjeman plays to be repeated on BBC Radio 4 in Christmas 2019

Former Head of English for Tonbridge School, Jonathan Smith has written a series of radio plays based on the life of one of Britain's best-loved poets, John Betjeman. The two plays, Mr Betjeman's Class, and Mr Betjeman Regrets first aired in 2017 and will be repeated on BBC Radio 4 in Christmas 2019. The plays were the final performances of distinguished OT actor, Ben Whitrow, who sadly passed away in September 2017.
