Jonny Madderson (PH1993-98) Co-Founder and Filmmaker at JustSo
After Tonbridge, Jonny studied Geography at St Andrews. His career started at Lowe and Partners Worldwide and The Red Brick Road advertising agencies, then in 2007 he co-founded Black Cab Sessions a series of one song performances recorded in the back of a cab and filmed for internet audiences. Jonny also co-founded JustSo the same year, an award-winning content studio based in London. Proud to be B Corp, JustSo is a leader in the space between brands and entertainment, helping organisations such as the Olympics, Netflix, Red Bull, Google and UNHCR drive change through visionary storytelling.
Max Dowler (FH 1992-97) Actor and voiceover artist
Max trained at Webber Douglas, and has appeared in feature films such as Ammonite, directed by Francis Lee, starring Kate Winslet and The One and Only Ivan, with Bryan Cranston and Angelina Jolie. Television credits have included popular TV series such as Line Of Duty, Ashes to Ashes, Emmerdale and EastEnders, as well as one-off productions such as Stephen Poliakoff’s Capturing Mary.
He has also performed at the National Theatre for theatrical grandee Peter Gill in The Voysey Inheritance; been heard on Radio 4 in the dramas The Mauritius Command and The Trenches Trip; and regularly works as a voiceover artist for brands including Rolex, HSBC, Tesco and Land Rover”.
Adam Mitchenall (WW 1991-96) Operations Director Grain Media
After leaving Tonbridge, Adam studied English at Leicester, gaining experience by working on the university radio station. He worked mainly in production for a number of companies including etv media group and Markettiers4dc, before joining two-time Oscar-winning Grain media in 2014. Specialising in documentaries and factual programming, Adam has run productions for BBC, Netflix, National Geographic, UKTV and Google. Scheduling and budgeting productions running into the millions of pounds for both TV networks and streaming services here and in the US.
Santino Zapico (CH 2014-19) Actor, musical theatre
Santino studied Musical Theatre at Trinity Laban, London’s conservatoire of music and contemporary dance. With a string of credits to his name both in London and at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Santino was delighted to accept a role with the travelling tour of School of Rock and will join us (possibly bleary eyed) from Seoul, South Korea where he is currently wowing audiences.
Plus, we have guest presenters for the evening – Mr Bruce and Mr Hussain will introduce the evening and guide us through the ways in which you can start off a career in the arts here at Tonbridge.
