After a wonderful guided tour of Windsor Castle visiting the State Apartments, then to St George's Chapel, home to the prestigious Order of the Garter and the resting place of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, members of the PAS were delighted to receive a surprise visit from Lt. Tom Brown of the Welsh Guards who showed us the Officer's Flat - a small room up a steep flight of stairs, near to the Chorister's Cloisters - with a triangular shaped bed, and graffitied walls featuring the signatures of King Charles, Princess Elizabeth and Princess Margaret as children.
