| OT Events & Reunions |
It was a glorious evening on 23 October 2025, when OTs met at The Library Bar in Sydney, for a highly successful and enjoyable evening.
The gathered OTs represented a broad range of year groups — from Peter Abelson (MH 56-61) to Hugo Cooper-Fogarty (CH/JH 20-25) who attended School almost 70 years apart. The diversity of generations created a lively and engaging atmosphere, with many enjoying the opportunity to meet fellow OTs living in the region. A core group of around a dozen OTs continued their conversations late into the evening — testament to the warm camaraderie of the event. Peter Abelson shared stories of regular OT reunions and dinners held approximately 15-20 years ago in Sydney.
Attendees (L to R in main photo) Chris Muirhead (PS 94-99), Jonny Bucknall (PS 94-99), Gabriel Chapman (MH 01-96), Hareen Potu (HS 02-07), Nick Ellmore (PS 94-97), Tim Averill (PH 90-95), Matt Banes (CH 93-98), Tom Culver (FH 94-99), Alex Marino-Hume (Hume) (FH 09-14), Deeyam Patel (CH 07-12), Hugo Cooper-Fogarty (CH/JH 20-25), Fraser Alexander (PS 96-01).
Also attending were Peter Abelson (MH 56-61), Michael Marsh (WH 61-66), Chris Adams (SH 74-78), Fred Callaghan (HS 05-10)
Feedback on the evening was overwhelmingly positive, with OTs expressing their appreciation for the chance to reconnect and their enthusiasm for gatherings in the future.
Our warm thanks are extended to Fraser Alexander (PS 96-01) for very kindly organising this uplifting event, and also to Gabriel Chapman (MH 96-01) who aided Fraser with photos on the day.
