On Saturday 29 November 2025, 20 OT rackets players returned to the School for the annual OT Rackets Tournament. The OTs were joined by seven current Tonbridge schoolboys in the tournament, as the schoolboys looked to sharpen up their games ahead of the National Schools’ Singles Championships at Queen’s the following week. It was great to see Alex Judd (Sc 00-05) back on court and partnering up in the double’s tournament with Olly Howick (Sc 00-05)!

Matches took place on both courts from 9am – 6pm, with the results of the finals as follows:

A Singles – Ed Hyde (FH 11-16) beat Tom Astley (WW 15-20)

B Singles – Jack Francis (PS 14-19) beat Will (CH3)

Doubles – Tommy Shields (OH 10-15) and Ed Hyde (FH 11-16) beat Ben Robinson (FH 15-20) and Jack Francis (PS 14-19)

The tournament concluded with the presentation of trophies, followed by drinks at The George and dinner at the Ivy House. As always, thanks to Dave Makey and Leo Walsh for organising and hosting such a great day.
