We wish Freddie all the very best as he begins this incredible endeavor.

Freddie would be delighted if anyone wishes to join him for one or more days and would welcome any offers of accommodation along the route. Please see below for more from him:

"I was looking for really tough challenge and have decided to run the length of the UK (Land’s End to John o’ Groats). I will average more than a marathon per day for 40 days.

My challenge will be supported by Wetherspoons (where I have been working for the last six months) and I am hoping to raise money for Young Lives vs Cancer, their partner charity, which helps children and families deal with the implications of a cancer diagnosis.

Any form of help would be much appreciated.

You could:

  • Find a free day and consider running/walking any distance with me. Anyone is welcome and I'm more than happy to walk.  Any company will make it much easier. Please consider coming along with some mates and running your first marathon.
Contact me on socials or by phone 07541 676262. FIND A DAY TO JOIN ME HERE: Freddie Skarbek LEJOG plan.xlsx
  • Offer accommodation, if you or someone you know lives near one of the stops.
  • Spread the word. repost, share, talk - I’ll be posting daily updates on Instagram: freddieskarbek.lejog
  • Consider donating here
  • My route includes: Exeter, Bristol, The Pennine Way, Durham, Edinburgh, West Highlands Way, The Great Glen Way

Thank you".
