Award winning wildlife photographer and conversationist, Paul Goldstein returned to the School in June to deliver a compelling and humorous talk about The Impossible Photograph to a packed E M Forster Theatre. (A recording of this talk will be available in due course).

In 2022, Paul Goldstein completed his 25th marathon in his tiger suit — on Everest.

Now he is part way through his new challenge: 25 walking marathons from Tigerton in Scotland which began on 10 August 2025 ending in Tiger Bay, Cardiff on 5 September: all for four legged species. Paul, in his tiger, is going to walk over one thousand (1000) km. He’s asking YOU to walk 42, for any four legged animal, who, unlike him, doesn’t have a voice.

Paul would warmly welcome anyone who wants to walk with him - for a day, two days or the rest of the trip. You can see his route, read his blog or donate via the following link 2legsfor4.co.uk.

He says" I want people to do this for any four legged animal they feel strongly about, and ideally raise money for them - be it horses, rhino, hedgehogs, bears, red pandas or red squirrels or indeed tigers. Or if you just want to support the cause by walking or helping, you'd be very welcome".

We wish him all the very best as he continues on to Tiger Bay.
