AIM Kent is a charitable organisation providing free 11+ tuition to Year 5 pupils from low‑income families, helping to widen access to West Kent grammar schools. The programme offers weekly term‑time sessions and holiday workshops, with classes running in Tunbridge Wells, Tonbridge and Sevenoaks. Alongside expert tuition, pupils benefit from structured preparation, including mock exams that mirror the real assessment experience.
Two of our Foundation Scholars have been giving their time to support this work - volunteering as Maths tutors and helping to mark 11+ mock exam papers over the Easter break. Their commitment is a powerful example of our partnership with AIM Kent in action, and it reflects the culture of giving back that sits at the heart of the Foundation Awards programme.
Their involvement not only strengthens AIM Kent’s impact but also demonstrates the widening ripple effect of the opportunities our Foundation Awards create: raising aspirations, building confidence, and extending support far beyond our own community.
