Private Tour of Chelsea Physic Garden

Please join us for a private tour to explore London's oldest botanic garden. Established in 1673, by the Worshipful Society of Apothecaries of London, Chelsea Physic Garden is home to over 4,500 medicinal, edible and useful plants.

Our 60 minute private tour will explore the historic glasshouses, discovering the plant collection. There will be the opportunity to enjoy the four-acres of green space in central London. You can also enjoy refreshment either before or after the tour. Nestled within the tranquil surroundings of Chelsea Physic Garden, which is open from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm, the café serves a variety of dishes crafted with fresh, locally sourced ingredients, many inspired by the garden’s own herbs and plants.

The paths around the Garden are flat and laid with small stone shingle. There are a limited number of wheelchairs available to borrow so if you need one, please contact Liz, PAS Co-ordinator. The Garden is on one level once inside; ramp access is available to the education space and to the Physic Garden Café. Wheelchair-accessible toilets are available in the main building as well as the Physic Garden Café. Baby-changing facilities can also be found in the café. Guide and assistance dogs are welcome in the Garden.
