Jewellery Classes 

Vere Hodge Centre at Tonbridge School

9 weeks, 6.45pm to 8.45pm

Over 9 weeks I aim to build your confidence in using basic jewellery skills to produce unique pieces of jewellery. I will encourage you to develop your own designs, style, explore ideas and challenge you to experiment. We will primarily use silver and you will learn how to cut, solder, texture and form the metal. We will also use beads and pearls and learn knotting techniques and clasp making.

This class is not aimed at complete beginners. 

I would regularly test at home before attending class. I would make sure that anyone who feels anxious is made to feel safe and would privately inquire what I can do to ensure that they are happy with the class set up . (This may not be the class for anyone who is vulnerable or at risk.)

Encourage the use of hand sanitiser and keep sanitising solution next to the shared tools and equipment and encourage the users to wipe down hand held items they use during the class and I would clean the tools before each class.

January 12th, 19th and 26th

February 2nd, 9th and 23rd

March 2nd, 9th and 16th
