Experience history where it happened with a guided tour of our authentic medieval castle that stands guard over the market town of Tonbridge. Led by a knowledgeable guide, this immersive tour will bring the castle's past to life as we explore its atmospheric spaces.
On a typical tour, you will discover the basement store and historic armoury, hear stories of life within the castle walls, including the routines of the garrison, and climb to the battlements for sweeping views across Tonbridge. Your guide will share fascinating insights throughout, encourage discussion and curiosity as you uncover centuries of history.
Please note that the historic nature of the site includes steep staircases, narrow passages, uneven floors and low lighting, which may limit accessibility for some visitors.
