Former Tonbridge Teacher and Housemaster, James Johnson, to take over as new head of Taunton School

We are pleased to hear that James Johnson has been appointed Headmaster of Taunton School, starting in September.

James (known as "JJ") joined the Tonbridge Common Room in 2005. He was a member of the English department, became coach of the 1st XV and was the housemaster of Hill Side from 2011 to 2016, when he left to take up a senior leadership team appointment at Ardingly College.
