Long Barn in Weald, Sevenoaks was the home of Vita Sackville West after Knole and before Sissinghurst. Its three acres were effectively her "starter" garden where she experimented with features and statuary for which she became known at Sissinghurst, including rigorous geometry, bold views and scented walks, and raised beds designed by Lutyens. The gardens are not generally open to the public. Please note the gardens include raised terraces and uneven terrain.
